Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including administering respiratory care procedures and modalities in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Key Responsibilities
Assess patient needs and develop individualized respiratory care plans Administer respiratory care procedures and modalities, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Provide education and support to patients and their families Requirements
Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) About Advocate Aurora Health
