SK144 - Full Time Housekeeper - Manhattan

Overview:
A wonderful family of 5 located on the Upper East Side of NYC is seeking a dedicated and experienced housekeeper to join their team. The role is live-out while in the city, and live-in while in the Hamptons for the Summers. The general schedule in NYC will be Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm, for 45 hours per week guaranteed. In the Hamptons, the schedule will be Tuesday through Friday, 7am-7pm, with some flexibility. The family has 3 elementary aged children, who have their own nanny, and additional staff in the home. This position requires someone who is proactive, can be flexible, possesses exceptional housekeeping skills and is a team-player. Ability to support with light child care in a pinch is a plus!

Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and organized household environment - Ensuring all rooms always remain clean and presentable.

Perform laundry duties including washing, ironing, folding, and putting away clothes.

Assist with packing and unpacking for trips.

Ability to care for speciality surfaces/materials and wardrobes.

Restocking any supplies such as toiletries, pantry items, etc.

Collaborate with other household staff to always remain a team player.

Occasional simple cooking of breakfast for the kids, think easy meals

Qualifications:
Calm and friendly demeanor

Detail oriented

Team-player, gets along well with other staff and able to work together

Great organization skills

Happy and positive attitude 

Requirements:
Previous experience as a housekeeper

Exceptional hands-on housekeeping skills, including laundry, ironing, packing, and

unpacking.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Must be comfortable with traveling to the Hamptons in the summer

Must be comfortable around kids

Must have a US Passport, Green Card, or EAC

Valid Drivers licence is a huge plus, but not a requirement

Salary and Benefits:
Annual salary is $80k-$85k ($32-$35 per hour plus OT)

Annual bonus based on performance
