Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Cisco Firewall Architect to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain secure network solutions using Cisco firewall technologies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will translate business requirements into robust network architectures, ensuring the security and availability of our network infrastructure. Your expertise will also be crucial in troubleshooting and resolving network security issues.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement network security solutions using Cisco firewall technologies.
Manage and maintain Cisco ASA, Firepower, and other Cisco security products.
Utilize network security protocols and technologies such as IPsec, VPN, and IDS/IPS.
Understand and apply network routing and switching technologies.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot network security issues.
Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of network designs and configurations.
Qualifications:
Strong experience with Cisco firewall technologies.
Advanced knowledge of Cisco ASA, Firepower, and related security products.
Expertise in network security protocols and technologies.
Proficient in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP Security or CCIE Security).
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Ability to handle multiple projects and work effectively in a team.
