Overview:
The Highlands is currently seeking new Ticket Scanners to join our team! As a Ticket Scanner, you will be responsible for utilizing handheld RFID scanners to verify lift tickets as well as monitor RFID gate access. You will also answer guest’s questions and provide them information about the slopes as well as the resort as a whole. This is an outdoor full-time or part-time position with flexible scheduling, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the various perks that come with working at the resort.

Welcome guests to the resort and ski slopes/trails
Develop a comprehensive understanding of all Highlands products, services, promotions, and events
Cultivating a friendly, fun environment for the experience of a lifetime for guests and fellow team members
Utilize barriers and gates to assist in traffic control of skiers/snowboarders in the winter and scenic chairlift users/bikers in the summer
Scan all lift tickets and passes to ensure validity and accuracy of the product
Identify and solve guest ticket issues while resolving conflict in a timely and respectful manner and providing exceptional customer service.
Assist guests with resort-specific questions, announcements and delivery of pertinent information while providing friendly and helpful guest services
Promoting, embracing, and adhering to The Highlands at Harbor Springs Mission and Core Values
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old
Ability to work outside, on your feet, in all weather conditions for long periods of time
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Must be able to fulfill season commitment INSERT SEASON HERE
