The right candidate will act as an interface to the staff and attorneys to effect real time technology problem analysis and resolutions. The Analyst will perform local network and telephone support. This individual will also provide excellent customer service and support by answering questions, providing instructions, and resolving concerns. They will deliver excellent technical support to end users with a high degree of customer satisfaction and timeliness and use their advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technology problems.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and software issuesPerform routine maintenance and repair of PCs, printers, and peripheralsInstall software, hardware, and peripheralsUse imaging technology for desktop upgradesUpdate service records and end user ticketsDocument solutions to the technology knowledge baseMove, add, and make changes to equipmentAdminister telephone and voicemail to include moves, adds, and changesPerform basic file server administration including managing the local backup processRack network servers and UPS as requiredSet up audio visual equipment including video conference and projector equipmentInterface with 3rd party service providers and other departments, as requiredAssist users with remote connectivity and PDAsThis position will take a lead role among the Technology Analysts and will:Act as a change agent and catalyst of enthusiasm to create positive energy in co-workers and peersTrain, mentor and assist Technology AnalystsLead major projects, provide project status reports, manage project timelines, and deliver on-time project implementationAct as an escalation resource in the absence of the manager or supervisorMaintain a high level of professional conductTake initiative to increase technical knowledge and obtain applicable certificationsHave advanced technical skillsQualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field preferredMinimum of four (4) years of technology support experience requiredTechnical certifications, such as HDI Desktop Support Technician, A+, Net+, Security+, or Microsoft Desktop Support Technician preferredGood problem-solving skills, ability to assess problems and identify potential resolutions requiredSuperior written and verbal business communication skills requiredFoley & Lardner LLP is a top ranked law firm with offices throughout the United States and abroad.
