Overview:
Join CoralTree Hospitality’s innovative centralized accounting team, where you'll play a key role in shaping financial success across a diverse portfolio of hotels. Based in our home office, this position involves preparing, reviewing, and analyzing balance sheet reconciliations. As the go-to subject matter expert, you’ll not only master the balance sheet process but also empower colleagues by providing valuable training and support across the organization. Responsibilities:
Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure account balances and transaction detail is recorded accurately, and is stated in accordance with GAAP and Company policy.

Reconcile general ledger and sub ledger accounts to source data and systems to ensure all transactions have been accurately recorded. Research/resolve any issues identified.

Communicate with property teams, Regional Finance teams, and others as appropriate to resolve issues.

Prepare and/or gather the excel templates, supporting reports and documentation, or any other required back up needed for the analysis and reconciliation of each balance sheet account.

Ensure compliance with Company Financial Standards and Procedures.

Support property teams with any internal or external audits of balance sheet accounts.

Facilitate the timely resolution of reconciling items and prepare reconciling journal entries.

Provide assistance to the Director of Finance in the preparation of financial statements as needed.

Foster a team environment with a focus on teamwork.

Qualifications:
4-year accounting degree or comparable industry experience.

Multiple years of experience in balance sheet reconciliations.

Experience in hospitality finance is preferred.

Experience with FloQast or similar reconciliation programs preferred.

Excellent computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

Ability to work autonomously, with little direction and oversight.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to property handle confidential information.

Comfortable working for an organization in a growth phase with the ability to be nimble and flexible with changing business needs.

Passion for growth and change and an entrepreneurial and collaborative approach to work.

Ability to motivate others and lead with the utmost moral and ethical judgement.

Compensation range: $30 - $34/hr. + 10% bonus
