The Emergency Department (ED)at Sinai Hospital is composed of a 73-bed unit and consists of 7 care centers within the unit, which include: Urgent Care Center, Chest Pain Evaluation Center, Emergent Care Center, Level II-Trauma Center, Pediatric Center, Rapid Evaluation Unit(REU), and an Observation Center. At Sinai, we are passionate about providing the best medical and emotional care for our residents and patients. Sinai Hospital is the largest community hospital in Maryland consisting of 483-licensed bedsthat offers training for more than 140 residents and 400 medical students yearly .
