On behalf of our client, Procom Services is seeking a Director, Business Solutions to join our client's team in Cary, North Carolina. This intermediate-level role is perfect for a professional with a robust background in supply chain management within the rail or trucking freight industry, complemented by experience in software sales. The primary focus of this role is on new business development, with an 80/20 split between acquiring new clients and nurturing existing business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business development while managing ongoing relationships with established clients. Achieve and exceed set sales and growth targets through effective leadership and strategic planning. Oversee and directly manage the sales team, ensuring both new and legacy products are effectively marketed to new and existing customers. Act as a "player/coach," personally closing deals on complex, high-value opportunities and supporting the sales team in their efforts. Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in supply chain management specifically within the rail or trucking freight industries. Demonstrable success in software sales. A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets both personally and through team efforts. Proficiency in building and managing a sales pipeline, maintaining customer relationships, and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Desired Skills:
Exceptional teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to effectively sell both new and legacy products, leveraging a high volume of inbound leads while actively marketing new products to prospective clients. Additional Details:
Location : This role is based in Cary, North Carolina, and includes an expectation of 25% travel. Start Date : TBD, with the understanding that the successful candidate will be eligible to earn commissions from their team's sales upon commencement.
