RN/LPN/CMA - NW Family Med (Windsor Heights)
Full-time Benefit Package
Shifts: M-T-Th-F / 7:00-5:30 (Wednesdays off) No nights or weekends
$5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus for external candidates.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse or medical assistant to join our Family Medicine Clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients, assisting our healthcare providers, and ensuring smooth daily operations within the clinic. Key Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Record patient history, vital signs, and other pertinent information accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
Administer injections, perform venipunctures, and conduct routine laboratory tests as needed.
Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
Handle prescription refills, phone triage, and follow-up care coordination.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
Schedule patient appointments, manage referrals, and coordinate with other healthcare facilities.
Support clinic operations, including inventory management and ordering medical supplies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience and a smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
Current Certification as a Medical Assistant or current licensure RN/LPN, State of Iowa.
High school diploma.
BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
