Millbrook is looking for dedicated Special Education Teachers for some new and exciting opportunities in the Dysart Unified School District!

To be considered for these positions, a candidate must have the following:

• Bachelor s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university.
• AZ Special Education teaching certificate with approved endorsements (Cross-Categorical, Special Education with LD & ED, K-12, Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe).
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one.
• FERPA certification
• Proficiency in the subject area; experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs.
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate

For the Preschool Opening A Structured English Immersion (SEI) endorsement is required; Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education or equivalent; Valid Arizona Early Childhood Special Education Certificate; Valid CPI Training Certificate; Possess a negative Mantoux TB Skin Test administered within 12 months of hire date or a health care provider s written and dated statement stating incumbent is free from infectious active TB issued within 6 months of hire date; Possess and maintain a valid Food Handler s card; Possess and maintain a valid First Aid/CPR card
