We explore new technologies and engineer better solutions for demanding business needs.What You’ll DoDesign and develop product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholdersDemonstrate a strong interest in application architecture and solution designRecommend complex integrated solutions that fulfill business requirements and align with technology roadmapsEnsure that all delivered solutions adhere to industry best practices for scalability, maintainability, usability, availability, extensibility, security, and portabilityWork with geographically distributed Agile teamsWork with product owners, product managers, and other stakeholders to groom & solution featuresProvide accurate and timely estimates for features, user stories, and tasksIdentify and implement innovative solutions to non-standard requests and problemsParticipate in code reviews and adhere to best practicesBe aware of current security trends, tools, and requirementsProvide input to planning activitiesParticipate in rotational on-call schedules as neededWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of Software Development experience scoping, building and supporting web applications5+ years experience in website development well-versed in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and have a passion for crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces3+ years of in-depth experience with React, Next.js and Typescript including building complex UI components and working with state management libraries (e.g., Redux)Expertise integrating with RESTful APIs using JavaScript middleware and/or NodeJSExperience with developing for and deploying to a cloud platform like AWSExperience integrating with 3rd party libraries and SDKsSolid understanding of frontend build tools and workflows, such as Javascript module loaders like Webpack, Babel, and npmFamiliarity with modern frontend development tools and technologies such as CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass), and Javascript module loaders like Webpack, Babel, and npmExperience working with CI/CD pipelinesExcellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment to deliver on feature requestsProficient in Unit and Automation Testing and familiarity with testing frameworks and practices such as Jest, React Testing Library, and CypressKeen eye for User Experience (U/X) with a focus on performance, scalability, and accessibilityExperience in implementing responsive designs and cross-browser compatibilityInterest in working across the stack and occasionally diving into the BEStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsCuriosity and willingness to learnCompensation and BenefitsPursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company.
