As the General Manager, you will be responsible for directing and managing the business with full P&L responsibility, advancing the strategic vision, driving execution, and leading an engaged and talented organization.You are experienced in running a service and installation business including manufacturing, branch operations, strategy development, sales, product development, and overall investment prioritization. You provide strong thought leadership, inspire innovation and are an excellent influencer. You can build strong relationships with other business units and cross-functional leaders, achieve planned targets and objectives and delight customers with new and refined solutions.This is an amazing opportunity for a strategic leader to drive a profitable and growing business operation.What You Will Do:Lead and support sales, installation, service teams across the United States and Canada with a customer driven value proposition for Stanley automatic sliding doors and swing door operators.Lead the business strategy and full life cycle product management with full accountability for P&L, ROIC, and cash flow.Drive ongoing continuous improvement in both manufacturing and branch operational effectiveness, delivery, efficiency.Develop business roadmaps and strategies, aligning to the Long-Range Plan (LRP).Build and maintain key channel partner, supplier and industry relationships.Maintain excellent industry/territory knowledge of codes and standards to adapt to changes in the marketplace.Provide continuous communication and partnership to matrix teams on business initiatives, strategy and overall direction.Inspire teams through your leadership presence and influencing.Build a culture of collaboration and be a change champion in the business environment.Effectively motivate teams by providing clear goals that stretch capabilities to achieve pre-determined outcomes.Provide coaching and development to teams, fostering Allegion’s values, leadership behaviors and strengths-based culture.
