Reimbursement Manager (Hybrid)

You can do all this and more at UCLA Health.You will be responsible for overseeing financial and statistical information for Medicare and Medi-Cal cost reports. You will serve as a primary contact for Medicare and Medi-Cal audits as well as support auditors in the review of cost report reimbursement and third-party accounts. You will:Prepare, review, and analyze financial and statistical informationCalculate contractual expenses for Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other third-party payorsReview the annual AB915 Medi-Cal Outpatient Supplemental Reimbursement forms and certificationPrepare and file annual GPP reportingAnalyze our hospital accounts receivable model, bad debt model, and accounts receivable roll-forward reportsPrepare Medi-Cal P14 waiver reports and respond to waiver audits/questionsAnalyze each hospital's net patient revenue budgetSupport financial, federal, and state audit requestsCalculate annual PPS Medicare rates for internal hospital codingSalary Range: $76,200-$158,800/annuallyQualificationsWe are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly-analytical leader with:Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, math, or a related fieldFive or more years of directly-related experienceBackground with net revenue and contractual expense calculationsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesComputer proficiency with Microsoft OfficeBackground in report writing and working with large data preferredKnowledge of third-party payer regulations and contractsExcellent communication and leadership skillsUCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and more than 250 community clinics throughout metro Los Angeles as well as the David Geffen School of Medicine.
