We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Aegis Combat Systems Program Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. This position requires a strong background in leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments.Job Summary:In this role, you will be responsible for developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1F Major Program Manager/Deputy Major Program Manager (MPM/DMPM) in developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance.Attend high-level briefings and take detailed notes for later briefings to the MPM/DMPM on fleet combat systems issues.Maintain a schedule of upcoming combat systems fleet readiness related briefings.Minimum Qualifications:A Bachelor’s degree in any general field of study with a minimum of five (5) years of Navy fleet experience in an AEGIS Combat Systems role.Former Junior US Naval Officer with an honorable discharge.Experience leading or supporting a major US Navy program initiative.Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing teams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to research program information and adapt and re-use relevant information from other briefs.Experience working with SharePoint and Confluence.Clearance Requirements:Current and active Secret Security clearance.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.Secure our Nation, Ignite your FutureThe projected compensation range for this position is $73,500-$122,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
