Please apply to get to know us, and we hope we can work with you.Role: Director of FinanceReports to: CEOLocation: Hybrid position in Austin, TXDirect reports: Controller, Two Senior Accountants, Junior AccountantDescription: The Director of Finance is a strategic leadership role in charge of the company’s Finance function. The Director of Finance is responsible for clear, accurate, and timely reporting, efficient financial operations, strong analytics and KPI reporting to drive management decisions, managing board and investor relations, forecasting and budgeting, and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax and regulatory requirements.Duties & Responsibilities:Develop and manage a high-performing finance teamPrepare and/or review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsManage reporting to board, investors, bank, and other external partiesOversee financial operations – payables, collections, payroll, and related functionsManage cash and working capital – ensure sufficient liquidity to fund company operationsPrepare annual budget and rolling quarterly forecastsBecome a trusted business partner to the management team – provide analytical support for key management decisionsMaintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboard for management, board, and investorsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with banks and lendersManage relationships with insurance providers and ensure complianceManage tax planning and compliance with federal, state, local, and other applicable taxesRequired Skills & Abilities:Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesExcellent management and supervisory skillsSuperior written and verbal communication skillsRecent experience in a rapidly growing, investor-owned companyExperience with Sage Intacct strongly preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google DocsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration requiredMaster's in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent degree preferredOver eight (8) years of managerial accounting and financial management experience requiredCertified Public Accountant designation preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
