Eastern US Sales Director

Our client is in need of a Sales Director to lead their sales team. This person would be responsible for effectively managing company sales operations by developing, implementing and enforcing set sales strategies while measuring and analyzing strategy and team effectiveness, productivity and success. This company has a family first culture and offers a strong salary, uncapped commission AND an annual bonus. They also have a company car program to assist with the travel costs.Responsibilities:Engage the external rep and extended contractor network through in-person and virtual meetings, product presentations, cold calls, etc.Develop the upstream sales pipeline, creatively collaborating with the sales team and its external partners.Offer customer support through proactive problem-solving and coordinating Technical Team support.Follow up on assigned projects and contacts in order to progress projects through the sales pipeline.Report on various metrics/data to Leadership.Attend selected conventions.Collaborate with global partners on international projects or design teams.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience relating to sales5+ years of experience in the building materials/commercial building industry2+ years of experience with the architectural/design/acoustical communityFormal education in Acoustical Engineering or Consulting (preferred)Relevant experience with the construction and/or design industry (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
