You lead, support, and mentor an interdisciplinary team to deliver multimodal transportation infrastructure in a wide range of contexts from roadway reconstructions and streetscapes in highly urban settings to signature trail projects in suburban and rural areas that highlight and enhance the natural environment. You use programs such as AutoCAD to fulfill production work on your projects. You will share your knowledge with staff and clients, to develop feasibility studies, concept plans, and construction documents, as well as mentor your colleagues to ensure that our projects are consistently of the highest quality.You manage projects and participate in business development pursuits in the Pacific Northwest as well as across our North American offices. Your job can sometimes be challenging, but you get to work with a close-knit team that is passionate about the work and the communities that you serve.We are targeting a salary range of $114,000 to $134,000 for this position. Additional years of experience may fall into a different salary range.Work Schedule for a Senior Civil EngineerThis full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2-3 days per week. The Seattle office of Toole Design is conveniently located in the heart of Seattle's Business District, blocks from the Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Central Public Library, and Waterfront. The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit or ferry. RapidRide lines C, D, and E stop right in front, and multiple Sound Transit light rail and Sounder Commuter rail lines are a short walk to the office.
