We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director, Opportunities to take full ownership of our proposal request process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all proposal requests are handled efficiently and that the entire process delivers a world-class experience for our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of proposal management.Disclaimer: The following description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential responsibilities of work performed by employees within this classification. It is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required.ResponsibilitiesProvide oversight over all incoming opportunities to all current and future operating businesses to ensure both that clients are receiving world-class customer service and that internal systems are accurate and being followed.Ensure that either the proposal due date has been communicated with the client or the client knows what is needed from them to establish it.Identify proposal-related issues and address them well in advance of the due date (proposal critical path management, such as reaching out to subs immediately vs waiting).Perform quality control (QC) to ensure proposal due dates are met (meaning submitted by 5 PM on the due date vs. after hours).Ensure the prequalification process is being followed.Perform Salesforce opportunity creation Quality Control.Update and educate BD & Estimating team members on SOP and SOP changes.Perform QC on the proposal workflow being followed by the entire team.Perform quality control on the turnkey process. Take ownership over the turnkey SOP. Hold more turnkey process meetings with team members. Ensure internal communication is occurring at the onset and prior to the proposal due date.Work closely with the BD team to identify process issues and situations where customer service is lacking to produce solutions.Collaborate with the owner to recommend and implement process changes.Create a database of opportunities where issues were located, close all of them out, and use this data to learn going forward.Communicate issues to managers and meet with managers and team members to discuss these issues.Train team members and drive a culture of providing world-class customer service.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industry.Must have a sense of urgency when working with clients.Customer service driven.Strong attention to detail.Experience in drafting, implementing, and training on SOPs.Experience with helping grow/scale a business (preferred).Compensation:Competitive salary rate plus bonuses.PTO & Holiday Pay.Family Planning Leave.401K with Company Match.Company phone and laptop.Muller Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and makes hiring decisions solely on the basis of merit. #J-18808-Ljbffr
