Inside the Role Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. Interns must work in accordance with DTNA's core values of passion, respect, integrity and discipline. Internship positions can be located at various DTNA locations across the US. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.

Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.

Support manufacturing operations by focusing on continuous improvement to enhance production processes, prioritizing safety, ergonomics, efficiency, and first-time quality. Ensure that production has the necessary tools and processes to successfully build trucks. Collaborate directly with the Continuous Improvement team to optimize current processes, improve part presentation for assembly, and refine workstation layouts.

Communicate and interact with Plant personnel to continually seek ways to improve existing designs or develop new designs to improve manufacturability and/or reduce costs Identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing assembly lines Cross functionally work with various departments to create a collaborative environment Be an ambassador to Daimler's inclusive and diverse culture initiatives Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization Design and develop standardized manufacturing processes for meeting quality, productivity, and safety goals Design arrangement of manufacturing equipment and parts to ensure most efficient and productive layout Support development of training and/or change management materials and activities to support new processes and procedures Knowledge You Should Bring Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's/PhD Program from an accredited college/university

have graduated within the last 12 months. Engineering major strongly preferred Proficiency in CAD systems, preferably AutoCad and SolidWorks Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with diverse groups of stakeholders to achieve tangible, timely results. Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change.
