We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our CGI team! This is a client facing full-time career opportunity to work on a highly visible transformation (Infrastructure services) projects for one of our long-standing government clients!
This position is located in our Sacramento, CA office with work performed at client site in Roseville, CA and Gold River, CA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be at the client site 2-3 days per week.

Applies deep technical expertise to the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing support of AWS services. Troubleshoots and resolves AWS service issues across development, testing, and production environments Develops scripts to automate systems administration and monitoring activities Works with Infrastructure Engineer and Architect on issues related to AWS design and architecture Assists with the development of Operations white papers, proposals, and other documentation Required qualifications to be successful in this role
AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, AWS SysOps Administrator Certification or equivalent AWS Cloud Engineering/Architecture experience 7+ years of AWS administration experience Experience with Active Directory, LDAP or equivalent technologies Ability to exercise independent judgment in driving technical problems to resolution DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Ability to communicate complex technical information to less technical staff Strong working knowledge of Local and Wide area networking technologies Ability to mentor other team members in areas of technical expertise
