Catalyst Community Developments Society – PresidentThe President provides the leadership, vision, and guidance necessary to ensure Catalyst’s ability to deliver on its mission, to become the “go-to” developer for people in need of affordable housing. The President facilitates and supports senior management and the Board in ways that allow them to efficiently and effectively pursue their respective mandates. This role focuses on the overall health and goals of the organization with a particular focus on building strategic partnerships, finding new and innovative ways to fund new and existing developments, while influencing and developing relevant public policy and regulations, as well as capacity-building within the non-profit development sector, to strengthen and sharing the Catalyst model.Reporting to the Board, the ideal candidate will be a kind, strategic, and a thoughtful leader of people. The work will be informed by real estate development experience but not governed by it. Driven to seek out strategic, pragmatic, and innovative approaches to managing the organization and its teams so that they can thrive.
