We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Print Production Manager to join our dynamic team.Position OverviewAs the Graphic Production Manager, you will take the helm in overseeing our dynamic print production process. Your role is pivotal in ensuring efficiency and timely execution of print projects while upholding the highest standards of quality and precision. You will also play a crucial role in identifying and resolving potential issues in print files, ensuring impeccable results. We take a technology based approach and are always on the cutting edge of innovation within our industry. Meticulous attention to detail is non-negotiable, as we pride ourselves in delivering nothing short of excellence.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain stringent ISO-like quality standards, conducting regular inspections to ensure printed materials meet or surpass client expectations.Utilize your leadership skills to motivate and engage your team, cultivating a positive work environment.Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and equipment layout to optimize quality production without compromising efficiency.Develop and document procedures to drive continuous improvement, including SOP documents and procedural updates.Offer input and recommendations to enhance existing prepress workflow procedures and processes.Develop, communicate, implement, and continually improve programs/practices to extend equipment life cycles.Propose and oversee capital upgrades, encompassing equipment design, procurement, installation, and startup.Review preflighted files for accuracy and troubleshoot problematic files as necessary.Foster daily communication with Account Management and Sales to grasp client requirements and provide answers.Conduct performance reviews for team members with data-driven metrics.Maintain G7 certification.Evaluate each job to determine the best application for correct and timely completion.Demonstrate reliability and punctuality to ensure a timely start to each workday.Take an active role in mentoring other team members.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Print Production, Graphics Communication and/or DesignBachelor's Degree in Project ManagementExperienceMinimum 7-10 years of graphic designMinimum 3-5 Years Of Prepress ExperienceMinimum 3 years of print production experienceProfound knowledge of printing, with an overall understanding of prepress, press and post-press processesComputer SkillsProficiency in both MAC OS and MS Windows operating systemsExpertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Pitstop Pro and Onyx ThriveFamiliarity with Enfocus Switch, Tilia Griffin, Trello (or similar), Microsoft 365 and Google Drive AppsLeadership SkillsAbility to manage a team, create organizational charts and establish accountability structuresProficiency in project management, collaboration and digital workspace leadershipOrganizational SkillsOutstanding organizational capabilitiesExceptional multitasking abilitiesEffective time management with a knack for prioritizing time-sensitive mattersImpeccable attention to detailExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsPreferred QualificationsGeneral understanding of major printing methods (Flex, Gravure, Offset)Familiarity with custom scripting, coding and automationKnowledge of MIS system design and implementation #J-18808-Ljbffr
