Director of Institutional Giving (Hybrid)

The Contemporary Jewish Museum (The CJM)

Pay range: $100,000 - $120,000 / annually

The Director leads the Institutional Giving program, managing all government, foundation, and corporate funding, bringing in about $1M/year in revenue, with the goal of growing the program. The position designs, plans, and executes the institutional funder pipeline; develops strategies, goals, and proactive timelines. Collaborate with the Board of Directors, Executive Team, and program staff to develop fundable programs, successful proposals, and create evaluations to assess their impact. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward funders; manage the full grant lifecycle, including prospecting and research, grant writing, reporting, budgeting, grant contracts, and acknowledgments. The position serves as the primary liaison with staff and principals at private foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
