The Department of Psychology in the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences at Baruch College of the City University of New York (CUNY) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor Level to begin August 2025. The successful candidate will conduct programmatic research in industrial and organizational (IO) psychology with the potential for top-tier publications and external funding. The Baruch College Psychology Department houses undergraduate psychology programs (including both a BA in General Psychology and a BBA in IO psychology), a master's program in IO psychology, and CUNY’s doctoral program in IO psychology. Teaching and mentoring duties will include the undergraduate, master's, and PhD levels. Successful candidates will also participate in departmental, school, and/or college service. All areas of research in IO psychology will be considered. QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidates will have earned a doctorate in industrial or organizational psychology by August 24, 2025. We also require evidence of the ability to teach successfully, engage in high-quality scholarship, cooperate with others for the good of the institution, and work effectively with a diverse community. COMPENSATION $79,188 – $99,532; Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
