We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Systems Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers exciting opportunities to work with a diverse range of technologies and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with a keen understanding of CAD and schematics. You will be responsible for the repair of mechanical systems, gearboxes, pumps, and equipment installation, as well as preventive maintenance. Knowledge in pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and automation systems is essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to further develop their skills and make a significant contribution to our team.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
2. Read and interpret CAD drawings and schematics to ensure proper assembly and operation of equipment.
3. Conduct preventive maintenance on gearboxes, pumps, and other mechanical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
4. Repair and maintain pneumatic and electrical systems in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
5. Work closely with the automation team to optimize system performance and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
6. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting modifications that could improve system efficiency and reliability.
8. Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of all systems.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
2. Proven expertise in the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, gearboxes, pumps, and equipment installation.
3. Solid understanding of pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and automation systems.
4. Proficiency in CAD and the ability to read and interpret schematics.
5. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
8. Commitment to adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
9. Relevant certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
