(ARA) is seeking an energetic and experienced Senior Data Analyst / Scientist with a background in supporting the Government in the planning and execution of large technology programs. The successful applicant for this contingent position will support the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Oahu, Hawaii. This position supporting the DoD’s Assault Breaker II (ABII) program requires a candidate with experience leading systems engineering, analysis, development, integration, and test activities required to deliver complex next-generation software-based multi-INT, Activity Based Intelligence, automated collection orchestration, advanced sensemaking capabilities, object-based orchestration, production, and custody.Required Qualifications:BS in scientific or technical discipline from an accredited institution10-12 years of relevant experienceCurrent DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility and a counterintelligence-scope polygraphKnowledge of missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operations, which govern, interface with and/or influence the systems acquisition process and integrated life cycle managementFamiliarity with data science, data engineering, and artificial intelligence concepts and algorithmsDemonstrated use of programming languages and software to develop data pipelines and data productsExperience writing clear and maintainable code to clean, connect, query, and investigate large structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data setsExperience designing rich interactive data visualizations and reports to communicate actionable insights and data/model limitationsDesired Qualifications:15+ years of relevant experienceMS in scientific or technical discipline from an accredited institutionExperience supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense and/or DARPAExperience with the Assault Breaker programThis position is contingent upon award of a contract (one base year + four option years) expected in October 2024 supporting the Department of Defense.COMPANY INFORMATION:Applied Research Associates, Inc. is an employee-owned international research and engineering company recognized for providing technically superior solutions to complex and challenging problems in the physical sciences.
