With strong growth in 35+ countries, our company continues to expand thanks to our amazing people passionate about innovation, climate change, and protecting the environment.About The RoleThe role represents and manages the Distran business in US + Canada and is directly accountable for the revenues of Distran US corp.In this role you will be responsible to:Operational management of a sales team responsible for both direct and indirect sales channels, including all aspects: weekly reviews, hiring, onboarding, performance reviews.Contributing and implementing the sales strategy.Develop and retain relationships and partnerships with high potential accounts in the industry, in particular oil and gas, chemistry and power generation; coordinate actions for accounts having sites both in the US and abroad.Plan, organize and implement Marketing actions together with the Head office marketing team; more generally ease and ensure a strong relationship with the headquarters and the US team.Keep up to date with the target industries and competition in the sales area.Co-ordinate the preparation of offers and ensure an effective general sales administration, including CRM management.As long as the organization is small to take responsibility for certain opportunities / accounts directly.Your profileBSc or MSc Engineering Degree (Technical/Instrumentation/Mechanical) or similar background with further education in Sales & Marketing.At least 5 years experience in a similar position in an SMB, or start-up environment, selling of CAPEX equipment, Non Destructive Testing (NDT) or similar goods like measuring devices, or in consultative sales environment.Experience to work for a European company selling into the US market.Experience in hiring, developing and working with channel partners in a similar industry.Experience in Oil & Gas preferably, exposure to Chemistry and/or Power Plants is also valued.Experience in managing a team of Business Development Representatives across the USA (working remotely), in a SMB or start-up, incl. administration and HR aspects.Entrepreneurial, "get the job done" mindset.Leading skills, ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.Enthusiastic about promoting Safety and Environment protection solutions.Preferably located in Houston, Texas. Other east coast locations with good airport access possible (administration/warehouse is installed in Pt Arthur).Willingness to travel in the US (at least 50%) and from time to time abroad (typically Switzerland).Driving license.What we offerBringing groundbreaking innovative technology to a market best seller is a rewarding social and professional experience.
