Friendship Village is seeking a Dining Services Manager to join our team!

Starting Salary: $45,000-$49,500 DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing the operational team at the Friendship Village Healthcare Center. Will assist in the operation and implementation of the Nutrition Care Program based on established objectives, standards, policies, and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* 3-5 years dining service management experience is required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assists in providing quality food and an enjoyable dining experience for residents, guests, and staff. * Assists in the maintenance of sound inter-departmental relations and the integrating of the nutrition department with the facility plan of operations. * Assists with the provision of nutrition care within the HealthCare Center and the community. * Assists Dietitian with the administration and regulatory compliance of the Nutrition Care Program as per facility and department standards, as well as state and federal guidelines, including JCAHO. * Assists with department excellent relations with clients and residents and close working relationships with dining service supervisors, employees and other community departments. * Provides nutrition information to individuals, as designated. Participates in wellness activities as applicable in the community. * Supervise the operational team to include Lead Diet Aides and Diet Aides. * Will complete audits as directed by the Clinical Nutrition Manager * Attends Care Plan meetings and any other meeting as assigned.

* Perform any other duties or assume any other responsibilities as directed by department head or supervisor, or as is necessary to perform this job.
