Overview:
Southern Veterinary Partners is seeking a Field Marketing Intern to join our rapidly growing and dynamic Marketing Team. In this part-time role, you will assist the Field Marketing Team (Marketing Business Partners and Marketing Integration Specialist) with social media, website edits, audits, internal communications, and numerous other marketing functions that help meet the team’s overall objectives. If you are looking for an opportunity with a large and rapidly growing organization and want to learn what it takes to drive marketing for 400+ hospitals, this is the perfect role for you.
The individual in this role should expect to contribute 20 hours of work a week at our office in Birmingham, AL. The position can extend into 2025 and may have the opportunity to become full-time based on performance.
Responsibilities / Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Director of Field Marketing, Marketing Business Partners, and Marketing Integration Specialist to support our partners and hospitals
Audit communications and provide insights
Create engaging and compelling content for corporate social media platforms
Opportunity to write mass emails and prepare presentations
Support planning and preparation for quarterly hospital reviews
Help distribute marketing materials to the field and collect feedback/input
Provide support with Service Now requests
Assist in other miscellaneous capacities where support is needed
Qualifications:
Currently in pursuit of Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or equivalent field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with teammates at all levels and positions
Self-motivated problem solver with a passion for marketing
