Overview:
As the Cafe Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising and coordinating all Amenities at the Inn at Bay Harbor. This will include all culinary responsibility for the Café, as well as all amenities regarding Tea Service, Weddings, Hotel, Events, Spa, and some Catering responsibility. Ultimately, this role will help increase profitability of all aspects of the Inn at Bay Harbor, boost customer engagement, and routinely help our guests have the great personalized experience they are looking for.
Responsibilities:
Some responsibilities of the Cafe Supervisor.
Oversee all Culinary duties regarding Amenities of the Inn at Bay Harbor.
Create beautiful culinary amenities. Including but not limited to Soups, Sandwich, Charcuterie boards, Cakes, Scones, etc.
Coordinate with Vendors and order Supplies as needed.
Work with Café Manager to find new items based on seasonality and consumer trends.
Ensure all areas of the Café are clean and sanitary.
Create daily food specials.
Create attractive displays for all amenities.
Execute Inventory with precision and time management
Collaborate with Lodgings, Events, Spa, and others to ensure all amentities standards are met in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Culinary, sales skills, retail sales experience, merchandising skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team; High school diploma; Additional certification (e.g. in Business Administration or Hospitality) is a plus.
