Position DescriptionThe Puget Sound Naval Shipyard is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Knowledge Manager to support the Key Business Area system and the 100TO (Transformation Office). The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, developing, managing and maintaining organizational initiatives including documentation and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective information sharing across the Command.In this role, you will:Communication and CollaborationAct as an interpreter to distill down high-level conversations into themes, storylines and organizational and team actions.Create talking points and agendas for meetings.Understand and work within a system of systems that regularly addresses difficult organizational challenges that are cross-functional and dynamic in nature.Integrate with other support teammates from process improvement, transformation and executive coaching teams.Introduce tools and systems to support real-time collaboration on content creation and editing.Assist in requirements gathering interviews to understand the Command's needs.Maintain outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate seamlessly with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.Documentation and SOP ManagementCapture meeting minutes and action items.Create an action tracker(s) for use amongst the Key Business Area teams.Coordinate with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture, document, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and other technical documentation for the Key Business Area system.Manage and maintain the Knowledge Base for Key Business Area system personnel.Maintain and update knowledge artifacts and web links on the SharePoint portal.Coordinate with technical SMEs to develop training documentation on technologies and processes supported by the Key Business Area system.Presentations & DeliverablesProduce and present finished products that are clear, concise, complete, and accurate, including but not limited to email correspondence, fact sheets, memorandums, after-action reports, executive summaries, military briefs, oral presentations, and policies.Act in a hands-on capacity to convert ideas into usable tools, templates, and products that are professional, thorough, clear and ready for a large audience of Sr. Leaders.QualificationsTo be successful in the role, you will have:Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years experience.Must be able to obtain/maintain an active Secret clearance.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, MS Teams, OneNote, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro is required.Proven experience in a knowledge management or similar role.Strong organizational and project management skills.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment or individually as specific engagement demands.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy.10% travel required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
