Description:
Armed Public Safety Officer

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Two (2) years of security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Must complete EHC PS Basic Officer Course and EHC PS Firearms Training Course upon hire.

Obtain Georgia Secretary of State License for Armed In-House Security Officer upon completion of training and complete FEMA IS 100, 200, 700, 800, 906 within 12 months.

Requires a Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record.

Must obtain a CPR card within six (6) months of employment.

Must obtain IAHSS (International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety) certification within one (1) year of employment.

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification preferred.

Must be able to pass extensive Psych Evaluation as a condition of employment.

Maintains licensure and proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and firearms.
