Job DescriptionWEG Transformers USADescription:Job Title: Engineering Manager, Power TransformersCompany: WEG Transformers USA LLCLocation: Washington, MOJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering Department for Power Transformers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and integration of engineering requirements and systems into the manufacturing processes of power transformers.Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of engineers and designers, overseeing all aspects of power transformer design (electrical, mechanical, and controls).Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.Collaborate with the WEG Information Systems team to implement Smart Factory concepts.Conduct design reviews, optimize transformer designs, and provide feedback to the Service team.Coordinate with other departments to resolve system issues and provide technical support.Stay informed about industry trends and identify opportunities for product improvement.Participate in IEEE meetings and committees.Develop skills within the engineering team, including sharing best practices across other global WEG locations.Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer:All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and promotion without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
