Real Estate Litigation Associate (1-3 years of experience)We have an opening in our Real Estate & Construction Section for a real estate litigation associate (class of 2014 through 2017). We seek lateral candidates with two to three years of demonstrated experience in preparing legal motions and arguing in court hearings. For an incoming first-year candidate, we seek some prior work or familiarity with litigation practice. For all candidates, we require some real estate experience (either through prior employment, legal case work, or participation in related organizations). A successful candidate will be adept at providing concise and persuasive work product under short deadlines for expedited lawsuits, with careful attention to details.Ideal candidates will have a distinguished academic background, impeccable references, and CA Bar admission. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills as well as excellent communication and people skills are required.
