Overview:
As Region Operations Analyst you will analyze Inbound and Dispatch Operations, provide training to new supervisors, and follow-up with Management Trainees within their first year of assignment
Responsibilities:
Perform revenue and volume studies for territory changes and expansions
Analyze reports and identify areas of the Inbound (IB) and P&D Operations where efficiency can be gained
Inspect and evaluate IB and P&D Operations performance in order to identify areas of opportunity
Develop and implement performance engineering solutions to identified problem areas
Establish and maintain SPH and Mile per Stop goals for entire Service Centers
Train new IB supervisors and dispatchers
Provide evaluation and follow-up training to Management Trainees
Create open communication with the Service Center and assist IB supervisors and Dispatchers as needed
Work closely with the Regional Vice Presidents and SC Managers in developing effective business plans to ensure IB and P&D operations are running efficiently and using capacity
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
2+ years experience in Operations (within the LTL industry) preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
Great written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Experience with AS400 (preferred)
