SummaryAs a Registered Nurse Field Assessor (FA), you will be completing Long Term Care insurance assessments. These hands-off assessments require you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, a current medication list, and evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence.The assessment process also involves completing a brief cognitive screening and evaluating the claimant's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks. More hospitals, physicians, and families choose LHC Group because we are united by a single, shared purpose: It's all about helping people.ResponsibilitiesComplete Long Term Care insurance assessments by obtaining claimant demographics, physician information, and a current medication list.Evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence and complete a brief cognitive screening.Assess the claimant's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks.Demonstrate good clinical reasoning and judgment as it relates to assessing ADL performance, cognition, and home safety.Utilize point of care technology when completing assessments.Education and Experience* Current, unencumbered RN licensure in state of practice.* Minimum of 2 years of home health experience or 2 years nursing experience in an equivalent area of practice serving the older adult population.* Has, or be willing to obtain, a professional liability insurance policy.* Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
