Overview:
A Facility Attendant is an integral member of the veterinary hospital team.  In support of the health and well-being of the animals we care for, the Facility Attendant ensures that the overall hygiene of the clinic meets OSHA compliance for animal health care facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning the following interior areas of the clinic:  floors, walls, doors, and windows in the exam rooms, break room, vet/manager office, reception area, laundry area, stairs, and bathrooms.  This is not a position to move up within the clinic 

Responsibilities / Qualifications:
Responsibilities

Clean all kennels as pets are checked out.

Vacuum, sweep and mop all hard surface floors in the building.

Wash windows and doors in building.

Empty trash in all rooms and condense trash into appropriate containers outside.

Record daily tasks and services by checklist provided.

Maintain breakroom cleanliness by wiping counters and sweeping floors.

Pick up pet waste around hospital building.

Advise Hospital Manager of any cleaning supplies needed. 

Keep the lobby clean and customer facing.

Ability to work independently and stay motivated.

Must be able to stay organized and possess time-management skills.
